Consent for personal data processing.
I consent that my personal data in the registration form and audio recording upload form and related descriptive information may be processed for research purposes by the researchers of the Sounding Urban Places project. The personal data will be processed in the following way: Data will be stored on our VPS server and will not be shared with any third parties. Data will be used for analytical purposes to better understand the role of sound in the perception of place. No personal data will be publicly available and in all usage for research purposes, personal data will be anonymized. It is possible to delete files at any moment, and also to request that all personal data is removed from the server. At the end of the research project, on 2025-12-31, the anonymised personal data, will be moved from the server to secure storage on servers provided by Leiden and Luleå universities, together with a copy of the linked audio files. The data will be used for the above purpose and in accordance with this form. The legal basis for the processing of your personal data is that you have given your voluntary consent. Your consent is valid until further notice/up to and including 2034-12-31. You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. You do this by contacting privacy@hdkdenhaag.nl. We will in this case cease to process personal data that we have collected based on this consent. However, data included in results that have already been obtained will not be affected by the withdrawal of your consent. Certain data may also be archived in accordance with Swedish and Dutch law. You have the right of access to information about the personal data we process about you. You also have the right to have incorrect personal data about you corrected. If you have a complaint about our processing of your personal data, you can contact our data protection officers via dataskydd@ltu.se or privacy@hdkdenhaag.nl. You also have the right to submit a complaint to the supervisory authorities (Swedish and Dutch Data Protection Agencies) if you think that we process your personal data incorrectly.
